DELHI – RISHIKESH- SINGTALLI - DELHI
03 NIGHTS / 04 DAYS

MILESTONES CAMP – RISHIKESH (Vill. Singtalli/Kaudiyala)

A confidence building and social interaction programme that involves:
• Exposure to environmental and social issues and concerns
• Learning about the culture, habitat and traditions of the people
• Participation in Adventure Sport

Day 01: Delhi – Rishikesh ( 265 kms / approx 7 hrs drive)

Assemble school premises at sharp 05:00 hrs to board the coach for Rishikesh

Opening address by Great India Voyages Tour Manager for familiarization

Departure for Rishikesh at sharp 05:30 hrs by coach

Stopping enroute for breakfast at Cheetal Grand and continue till camp

Arrival at Milestones Camp at approx 13:00 hrs where you will be booked for three nights

A brief camps Do’s and Don’t’s, group division, tent allotment by an Instructor

Lunch at the Camp at 13:30 hrs

Post lunch, cross a suspension bridge and a familiarization trek along the river to an ancient Lord Shiva Temple (Gangeswar Temple)

Return back to the Camps followed by games like handball, levitation and badminton

Evening tea with snacks 18:00 hrs

Fun games around the bonfire

Overnight at the Camp (B-enroute, L, D)

Day 02: In Milestones Camp

Early morning wake up call at 06:00 hrs followed by a short trek to track wildlife like barking deer and try and spot the different varieties of birds that are found here

Return to the camp for breakfast

Post an breakfast at 08:30 hrs activities to be alternated between the different groups

Rock Climbing and Rappelling : Basics at cliffs near the Campsite. An Instructor will brief on different techniques of rock climbing and rappelling with adequate safety gear.

Environmental Awareness Workshop : A lession by Camp manager on flora & fauna, methods of garbage disposal and waste management.

Visit Singtalli Village : Visit the village school. Interact with the villagers and spent some time in their fields.

Return to the Camp for lunch

Post lunch at 13:30 hrs exchange the activities between the groups

Evening tea with snacks at 06:00 hrs

In the evening distribution of teams and each of the team are given topics to be presented in the form of skits

Dinner around a merry bonfire

Overnight at the Camp (B, L, D)

Day 03: Excursion to Dev Prayag (33 kms / approx 2 hrs drive)

Post an early breakfast drive to Dev Prayag to the Confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers – from where the Ganga emerges

Drive back to the camp for lunch

Post lunch at 09:00 hrs: activities to be alternated of day 02

Evening tea with snacks

Some more games around the bonfire

Dinner and overnight at camp (B, L, D)

Day 04: Rishikesh - Delhi ( 265 kms / approx 7 hrs drive)

Early morning short lession about cleaning the Camp site , luggage packing, Prizes for the best Camp, cleanest Camp etc.

Post breakfast around 09:00 hrs, packup and drive to the start point for rafting

Start rafting from Marine Drive towards Rishikesh through series of exiting rapids like three blind mice, crossfire and body surfing.

On reaching shivpuri freshenup and have picnic lunch at the beach and then drive further towards Delhi

Arrive Delhi between 20:00 – 21:00 hrs

Your adventure trip to Rishikesh comes to an end on arrival at school grounds (B, L-enroute)
