DELHI – MUKTESHWAR – DELHI
05 NIGHTS & 06 DAYS

Eligibility: VI Class & Above

Day 01: Delhi - Kathgodam (by train) 5013 Ranikhet Express 22:15 / 05:55 hrs + 1

Assemble at Delhi S Rohilla rly. stn. at sharp 08:00 hrs to board the train to Kathgodam at 22:15 hrs

Opening address by Cox & Kings tour leader for familiarization

Overnight on board the train (D-train)

Day 02: Arrive Kathgodam on to Mukteshwar Camp, 70 kms – 2 hrs drive

Arrive Kathgodam at 05:55 hrs and departure for Mukteshwar

Breakfast in the camp followed by group division and each team with their respective leaders is briefed about the activities for the day

Post breakfast – Volley ball / Throw ball competition

Lunch at Camp

The Sunset Trek - In the evening sets out for Chauli Ki Jali cliffs to see the beautiful evening sunset. Mukteshwar offers one of the finest views for sunset which one can never forget, visit Mukteshwar Temple and return to the camp for tea break

In the evening Burma Bridge, River Traverssing, Strategy planning on the web etc…

Dinner and overnight at camp (B, L, D)

Day 03: In Camp Trishul

Early morning trek through the George to sight Barking Deer or Ghurar (mountain goat). This is also a good time to do bird watching – Mukteshwar being a bird watchers paradise, return by breakfast

Post breakfast – A route finding excersice, clues and hints are given to each team to find a particular household in a village they have to first locate. During the exercise lessons in jungle survival are also given to each team by their respective instructors

Early lunch in the camp

Post lunch – drive to the site for Rock Climbing / Rappelling

Dinner & overnight at camp (B, L, D)

Day 04: In Camp Trishul

Pre breakfast – A Yoga session

Post breakfast – drive to the local meuseum (Dr. Madhwal’s Meuseum) which provides a good insight into Kumaoni folklore and culture. Also on display are a Kaleidescope of water colours on Kumaoni landscapes and ancient art

Continue from meuseum to Nainital, known for its cable car, horse rides and the shopping mall (on direct payment)

Farewell dinner and overnight at camp (B, L, D)

Day 05: Mukteshwar/Kathgodam – Delhi (by train) 5014 Ranikhet Express 20:40 / 04:40 hrs + 1

Wake up call at 05:00 hrs , an early breakfast in the camp

Proceed for a full day trek with pack lunch return by afternoon (Mukteshwar is a trekkers paradise. You can just start to walk anywhere and be sure to be gifted by the best of what nature has to offer)m, return to the camp by evening

Prize distribution ceremony and check-out from the camp

Depart camp for Kathgodam to connect the train to Delhi at sharp 20:40 hrs

Overnight on board (B, L-packed, D-train)

Day 06: Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi at 04:40 hrs

Tour concludes on arrival at Old Delhi rly. stn.
