Home >> School Tours >>Camping And Learning Programme - Mukteshwar INDIA TOURS | BHUTAN TOUR | NEPAL TOUR | SRI LANKA TOUR | MALDIVES TOUR | SCHOOL TOUR CAMPING AND LEARNING PROGRAMME DELHI – MUKTESHWAR – DELHI Day 01 : Delhi - Mukteshwar (by coach) - 354 km, approx 8-9 hrs drive Assemble at school ground at sharp 05:30 hrs Opening address by Cox & Kings tour leader for familiarization Board the coach and departure for Mukteshwar at sharp 06:00 hrs Breakfast en-route at “Tadka Outlet” - Gajrola & lunch at “Rudrapur” and continue till Mukteshwar Camp Arrive camp in the afternoon – group division and each team with their respective leaders is briefed about the activities for the day the Sunset Trek - In the evening sets out for Chauli Ki Jali cliffs to see the beautiful evening sunset. Mukteshwar offers one of the finest views for sunset which one can never forget Environmental workshop – In the evening Group discussions, lectures, practical demonstrations and games dealing with one or more aspects of the environment are given individually and as teamwork. Such exercises help generate awareness, intrest and concern among the children Late evening camp games and Bonfire followed by dinner (B & L - enroute, D) Day 02 : In Camp Trishul Early morning trek through the George to sight Barking Deer or Ghurar (mountain goat). This is also a good time to do bird watching – Mukteshwar being a bird watchers paradise, return by breakfast Post breakfast – trek up to the site for Rock Climbing Lunch in Camp Post lunch- A route finding excersice, clues and hints are given to each team to find a particular household in a village they have to first locate. During the exercise lessons in jungle survival are also given to each team by their respective instructors Semi-finals of Inter-team Volley Ball / Throw Ball competition Campfire with dinner Overnight in the camp (B, L, D) Day 03 : In Camp Trishul Pre breakfast – A Yoga session Post breakfast – Continue rock climbing, from where you left off the first day Lunch in the Camp Post lunch - drive/trek to the local meuseum (Dr. Madhwal’s Meuseum) which provides a good insight into Kumaoni folklore and culture. Also on display are a Kaleidescope of water colours on Kumaoni landscapes and ancient art Continue from meuseum to Nainital the lakeside resort known for its cable car, horse rides and the shopping mall Post tea – Finals of Volley ball / throw Ball competition Farewell dinner and overnight in camp (B, L, D) Day 04 : Mukteshwar -Delhi (by coach) - 354 km, approx 9-10 hrs drive Wake up call at 05:00 hrs , an early breakfast in the camp followed by prize distribution ceremony A presentation by students on the camp & check-out from the camp Departure for Delhi at sharp 10:00 hrs Lunch en-route in a restaurant and proceed to Delhi Arrive Delhi at approx 21:00 hrs Your tour ends with an arrival at schools grounds (B, L-enroute)
