An experience made even more wonderful by a stay at a period 19th century country home in the quiet hillside of Mussoorie, cool mountain air and a specially organised trip to take you even higher to Dhanolti where you can spend a relaxed time and even enjoy a picnic lunch with butterflies fluttering within your reach. Area: Camp Cloud Nine, Mussoorie Day 01: Delhi – Dehradun (by train) 2017, Dehradun Shatabdi – Dep. 06:55/ Arr.12:40 hrs & Dehradun - Camp Cloud Nine (by coach) 32 kms, 2 hrs. 05:00 AM: Assemble at the New Delhi railway station to board Shatabdi Express to Dehradun 12:40 PM: Arrive Dehradun by Shatabdi Express, upon arrival transfers by Non AC coach Arrive Hathi Paon by afternoon (3 Kms short of Cloud End) followed by transfers by Jeep to Cloud End, fruits will served enroute to Mussoorie. 03:00 PM:Arrive Camp for lunch & A short walk inside the estate – 400 acres of forests of pine and Deodar. Set at an altitude of 7200 Fts., Cloud End command a spectacular view of the Himalayas on one side and the Plain of the Doon Valley on the other 03:30 PM:A brief camps Do’s and Don’ts and a nature talk by the Camp Manager & allotment of Tents. A discussion on programme and area familiarization walk around the estate Afternoon:The camp campsite set-up– pitching up the tents at right locations, a lesson on tent pitching , setting up a bonfire area, evening activities area etc A lesson on Jungle survival, Map Reading and Compass Reading. 06:30 PM:Back to the Camp for tea by evening 07:00 PM:Group games based on small nature quiz, Introduction & Sharing around the bonfire 09:00 PM:Dinner 09:30 PM:Overnight at the Camp Overnight at the Hotel. Day 02 : In Camp Cloud Nine 07:00 AM:Early morning a short walk to Tibury Cottages to watch a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas, an amazing view of some 300 miles of Himalayan Range 08:30 AM:Breakfast at the Camp 09:00 AM:Post Breakfast Activities : ( All the activities to be undertaken in group and will be rotated for all the groups) Rock Climbing & Rappeling– A detailed lesson on this challenging sport by the experienced experts and complete safety equipment 02:00 PM:Return to the camp on-time for lunch 03:30 PM:Post lunch treasure Hunt an exciting team building activity 05:30 PM:Evening snack and tea at the camp 06:30 PM:Walk to the Cliffs to watch the sunset over the whole of Doon Valley 07:30 PM:Evening games and activities like Levitation, Plank Bridge around the bon fire 08:30 PM:Dinner 09:00 PM:Post dinner short night trek ( 200 Mts) with flashlight to the ridge to see the Doon Valley Light’s Day 03: In Camp Cloud Nine 06:30 AM:Early wake up foollwed by short walk to the Tibury hills Trek to Binog Hill ( 4 – 5 Kms) – A beautiful walk to the Binog Tibba a highest mountain in Mussoorie region also famous for Jwala devi Temple which host an annual fare for 100 villages around. A great view of Himalayan ranges and the river Yamuna. OR Trek to Wishing well and George Everest Estate ( 5 kms) – Gradual and forests walk with pines and Deodar tree all along the walk to this mystical Wishing Well – a sweet water well at the Height of 7200 fts later leads to George Everest Estate the person known for measuring the Mt. Everest height for the first time which still stands the same. Return to the Camp for lunch 02:00 PM:Lunch, Post lunch time at leisure to relax 04:30 PM:Late afternoon walk around the Jungle & Collects the woods for bonfire 05:30 PM:Evening tea & snacks at the Camp 06:00 PM: Theatre Performance by the students on topics provided by the coordinator 07:00 PM: Evening bonfire with entertaining games & live performance by one of our representative with the Gitar 08:30 PM:Dinner 09:00 PM:Overnight at the Camp Day 04: Camp Cloud Nine –- Dehradun (by coach) 32 Kms, 2 hrs & Dehradun – Delhi(By train ) 2018 Dehradun Shatabdi - Dep.17:00 /Arr. 22:45 hrs 05:30 AM:Early morning walk to see the sunrise over the Himalayas, back to the camp for breakfast 08:00 AM:Breakfast at the Camp 09:00 AM:Post Breakfast camp wrap-up a short lesson about the packing up the tent, cleaning the campsite, luggage packing, Prizes for the best camp, cleanest camp etc 10:00 PM:Departure for Mussoorie, a short walk through the Mall for an hour 12:00 PM: Assemble at the Meeting Point to move to Dehradun Railway Station 02:00 PM:Lunch at Dehradun 03:00 PM: Stroll on Rajpur road 04:00 PM: Arrive Dehradun Railway Station 05.00 PM: Train depart for Delhi 10.45 PM: Arrive New Delhi rly. stn
