ARUNACHAL & NAGALAND TRIBAL TOUR
Destinations covered: Calcutta – Delhi – Guwahati - Itanagar – Ziro- Daporijo - Along - Pasighat – Dibrugarh - Jorhat – Mokokchung - Kohima – Dimapur - Tezpur - Guwahati
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your Hotel.
Overnight at the Hotel
Day 02: Delhi – Guwahati
Guwahati - Tezpur
Morning after breakfast check out from the Hotel and transfer to airport to connect flight for Guwahati. Upon arrival you will be met and driven to Tezpur, on arrival check in at the Hotel and overnight.
Day 02: Itanagar to Ziro
Next morning visit museum, emporium and local market. After lunch drive to Ziro, the headquarters for lower Sabunsiri district of Arunachal Pradesh surrounded by Apatani tribal villages.
Day 03: Ziro - Daporijo
Next morning drive to Daporijo. Enroute visit Apatani villages. Daporijo is the headquarter of the Upper Subansri district of Arunachal Pradesh is an inhabitant of Tagin tribe. Enroute you visit Hillmiri tribal villages at Raga. On arrival check in at the Hotel.
Day 04: Daporijo - Along
Along headquarter of West Saing district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 300m inhabitants of Adi (Gallong) tribes. Adi has different sub tribe which differ from each others like Adi (Gallong, minyong, pasi, padam, Bori, and Boker) , if you visit far inside this places you will find all these tribes, but in along you will find only Adi (Gallong) tribal people. You can have visit of Jirdin, Kabu, Kaying villages, others interesting to see is a hanging bridge on the Siang river, local made of cane and bamboo bridge around 60 to 70m long connecting to the others hill tribes, fishing are the sports for these tribe.
Day 05: Along - Pasighat
Visit Pasighat the headquarter of East Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 150m, inhabitants of Adi(Minyong) tribe. Enroute you can have visit of Pangin tribal villages, all along Siang river, the areas are good for adventure sports like river rafting, angling and trekking.
Day 06: Pasighat – Dibrugarh - Jorhat
Cross the river Brahamaputra by country made ferry which take 5 to 6 hrs in the Brahamaputra River to reach Dibrugarh. Drive to Jorhat and stay overnight.
Day 07 & Day 08: Jorhat - Mokokchung
Visit Mokokchung and view the surrounding hills and valley and the Ungma village, oldest and biggest Ao village. This village is many centuries old and can be of great interest to people who have a desire to peep into Ao folklore custom and tradition.

Day 09: Mokokchung - Kohima
You visit Kohima village (Bara Basti), one of the most populous tribal village in Asia. The Khonoma village has its own traditions of valour and courage. The Khonoma gate tells the story of the British infiltration into Naga hill. And the World War II cemetery, museum, emporium and local market are the exclusive experience for the new visitors.
Day 10: Kohima
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Kohima - Dimapur
Next day board the connecting flight for calcutta/Delhi or in case of cancellation of the flight schedule, because sector is unreliable at any time its changes/cancel the flight.
Day 12: Kohima -Tezpur
Next day proceed for Tezpur. Upon arrival check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13: Tezpur - Guwahati
Next day proceed to Guwahati airport to board the connecting flight for Delhi. Upon arrival direct transfer to International airport to connect flight for onward journey.
